It's true...I hardly ever wear jewelry ( if I do, it is mostly on Sundays for church - and I try to avoid earrings because they really do give me headaches - but that's beside the point) however, there is one piece of item I wear regularly. It is a necklace like the one above, but only it has both Cannon's and Carter's names engraved on it with two blue beads to represent two boys. My friend Haylie Miller made it for me after Carter was born and I can't thank her enough!! Curtis is one lucky guy because I never ask for or want jewelry (except for maybe a 2 karat diamond someday - just kidding - that's for Becky - okay, so I'm jealous my sister has one that big...). Honestly, I can live without all jewelry except for my Cannon/Carter necklace and my wedding ring. What piece can you not live without??

Here is Cannon Boy with a cheesy smile. I kindof thought it was unfair that I did a post about Carter, but not Cannon...so here is a little about Cannon:
*Sleeps the entire night (7p.m. - 7a.m.)
*Still likes bottles over sippy cups
*Knows all of the sounds of all of the letters (has known these since 15 months)
*Is working on blends - putting two letter sounds together
*Knows how to read "yes"
*Loves Little Einsteins, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Dora, and Wheel of Fortune
*Likes pestering Bobbin, the cat
*Is really starting to talk
*Can count to 12
*Eats almost anything
*Is allergic to peanut butter (face gets really red)
*Loves his little brother, Carter
*Has a favorite blankie
*Likes to brush his own teeth(without help of course)
*Is a musical learner
*Pretty much knows all the sounds an animal says
*Went to nursery for the first time 2 weeks ago (even though he is not 18 months old) and absolutely loved it and didn't miss us at all! Then again, what child would when the primary leaders wear aprons that say "I heart nursery", have a trampoline and tent in the room, dye easter eggs, make smoothies, have a t-shirt that the kids wear with their pictures on them saying "I am a child of God", chase after bubbles with a big bubble maker, etc.
*Gives his dad a hug and big smile when he gets home from work.
