So sad for this family...

For the past two years I have been drawn to this blog. It seems like this family has had challenge after challenge in their lives. They have had their fair share of heartache. Please say a little prayer for Ben and his family. See Ben's blog by clicking on the title of this post (So sad for this family...).

How I want to live my life

"I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long, perfectly manicured fingernails.
I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp. I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbors children. I want to be there with a little dirt under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden. I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and the tears of a friend on my shoulder. I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived."

Car-Car (the name Cannon has given Carter)

This little boy has issues inside his little tummy. He is just now eating baby food at the age of 6 months (actually 6 months and 2 weeks). I know you are supposed to give babies the green baby food first and then the other veggies and then the fruits, but I love sweets so I started Carter out with the fruits. Bad mom? Probably, but oh well! :) He loves pears and applesauce! I don't know what it is, but every time I hold Carter I think he is like 4 months old. He seems so little to me, despite the chubby cheeks! That's okay, I'll take that he is little. I don't want him to grow up.

What happens when the big brother takes a nap?

The little brother and I take pictures together and play.

The little guy gets tuckered out and falls asleep.

I use the time to fold laundry. Sound familiar to anyone else???

My New Life

Nie Nie is such an inspiration! Watching this video is well-worth your time. Enjoy and learn! P.S. Before you watch and listen - you need to go down to my music playlist and turn the volume down (below what looks like two exclamation points).
